HP Tennis | 9/26/2018

The Varsity Tennis Team welcomed two out of town opponents hoping to challenge the Scots in Dallas last weekend. Rain peppered throughout the weekend however didn’t slow down the matches. The brand New Seay Indoor Center was called into action! Players and spectators all enjoyed the climate controlled facility.
On Friday Coronado High School, El Paso travelled the nearly 700 Miles only to get shut out 19-0!! The Boys and Girls singles and doubles dominated the Mustangs. Boys singles players, Mikhail Commer, Cole Burnam, Peyton Dooley, Hank Scott, Ray Saalfield and Skyler Carter looked especially strong in the win.
On Saturday Tyler’s Lee High School saw a similar fate as the Scots handled both inside and eventually outside courts winning 18-1. Consistent play by Boys and Girls Singles and Doubles led the team. The girls singles players Bridget Stammel, Katherine Petty, Annika Juergens, Lizanne Boyer, Ashlee Newton and Jourdan Krueger all played solid to secure the win.
Come out and watch some great tennis Friday 09/28 at 3:35 PM as the Scots take on McKinney North High School.
