The Lady Scots Gymnastics Team competed in a dual meet on Thursday against Rockwall. Although they finished in 2nd place, the girls’ team raised their team score by nearly 4 points.

Freshman Linda Tran placed 2nd on Floor, 4th on Vault, 5th on Bars, 5th on Beam, and 3rd All-Around. Linda scored a season high on Vault. Her highest score of the night was 9.45 on Floor.

Freshman Kennedy Downing placed 4th on Beam, 5th on Bars, 5th on Floor, 6th on Vault, and 4th All-Around. She scored season highs on Bars, Beam and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.1 on Floor.

Senior Katherine Downing won Vault and Floor. Katherine placed 7th on Beam and 5th All-Around. She scored season highs on Beam, Floor, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.55 on Floor.

Sophomore Carly Hart placed 7th on Vault, 10th on Bars, and 7th All-Around. She scored a season high on Vault and score her highest score of 8.5 on Vault and Floor.

Freshman Abby Sabatini placed 7th on Beam, 10th on Vault, and 8th All-Around. She scored season highs on Bars, Beam, Floor and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 8.5 on Beam.

Sophomore Megan Mulcahy placed 5th on Bars, 7th on Beam, and 9th All-Around. She scored season highs on Bars and Beam, and her highest score of the meet was 8.5 on Beam.

Sophomore Lauren Cimorelli placed 7th on Floor. She scored season highs on Bars and Floor, with her highest score of the meet being a 9.0 on Floor.

Senior Captain Tatum Meeks competed on Bars placing 9th with a season high score.

The Lady Scots return to competition on Wednesday, February 6th at the Mark Williams Invitational in Euless, Texas.
