The Lady Scots basketball team finished regular season undefeated (14-0) and are the 2018-2019 District 11-5A district champs. They traveled to Woodrow Wilson Tuesday night to face a tough crowd in a rather unique gym. Woodrow threw the first punch scoring on a lay-up. The game remained neck and neck until the Lady Scots began connecting on jumpers. They knocked down three in a row to go up by six. The Lady Scots' biggest lead of the night was 18 points in the fourth quarter. Woodrow then went on a 12-4 run to cut the lead to within 11. The Scots maintained their composure and came away victorious with a score of 48-35. Sophomore, Ella Patterson, led all scorers with 18 followed by Madison Visinsky who chipped in 9. The Lady Scots enter the post season as a one seed and will face the fourth place team out of district 12. Details will be provided on game date and location as soon as they are finalized.
