On Saturday, August 3rd, the Lady Scots Cross Country Team had a great time at the Voice of Hope in west Dallas. The team decorated classrooms and the hallway for the start of the new school year. This is the second year the captains have chosen the Voice of Hope for the team's community service project.

Rachelle Hast, the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives, guided the team in what needed to be done during the two hour visit.

According to the Voice of Hope's website, it was founded in 1982. "Voice of Hope has grown to serve over 300 children in our ASPIRE after school program and Summer Day Camp. Voice of Hope has a rich history in the West Dallas Community. Many lives have been touched through the years."

The team definitely made a difference in children's lives on Saturday! It was a great day to be a Lady Scot!
