Day 1 of Regionals was our Compulsory Competition, and it resulted in an HP Gymnastics Record. The boys scored 175.2 out of a possible 180. That is an AVERAGE of 9.73 for every routine in compulsory competition.

We are in 2nd place to Rockwall who scored 177.1.

William Benz was our highest all arounder, 3rd and a PB of 58.0, just one tenth ahead of JB Sartain’s 57.9 and just 3 tenths ahead of Ryder Greene’s 57.7.

Benz is in first place on Horizontal Bar with another Perfect 10!

Sartain is in first place on Parallel Bars with a 9.9.

Greene is in first place on Rings with a 9.8 and tied for 2nd on Floor (9.9) and Vault (9.7).

Surprise of the meet was sophomore Henrik Shalley 9.7 good for tie for 2nd on Vault, mainly due to his height and stuck landing.

Another personal best was Tommy Simpson’s 9.9 on Pommel Horse.



Day 2 is Thursday as we enter the “Optional” Competition.

Top 3 teams qualify to the State Championships.
