On March 10, the Highland Park Girls Gymnastics teams competed in the first annual HP United Meet. The format of the meet was an intrasquad comprised of two teams (Red and Blue) which allowed the Varsity, JV, and Middle School teams to compete all together to promote team unity among the gymnastics programs at Highland Park.

The 1st place Blue team members were Ana Simpson, Kennedy Downing, Lauren Sweary, Bennett White, and Riley Neumann.

The 2nd place Red team members were Lily Ford, Linda Tran, Olivia Adams, Elena Fitzenhagen, Sydney Davis, and Caroline Fullwood.

Sophomore Ana Simpson won Bars, Beam and the All-Around. She placed 2nd on Vault and Floor. Ana scored a season high on Beam with a 9.8. She scored 9.4 or higher on all events.

Senior Captain Kennedy Downing won Vault and Floor. She placed 3rd on Bars, 2nd on Beam, and 2nd All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.9 on Vault.

Sophomore Lily Ford placed 3rd on Vault, 4th on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 3rd on Floor, and 3rd All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.5 on Vault.

Senior Captain Linda Tran placed 4th on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 5th on Beam, 6th on Floor, and 4th All-Around. She scored season highs on Beam, Floor, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.4 on Vault.

Junior Olivia Adams placed 6th on Vault, 7th on Bars, 4th on Beam, 4th on Floor, and 5th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 8.5 which she scored on Vault, Beam, and Floor.

7th grader Lauren Sweary placed 5th on Vault, 6th on Bars, 6th on Beam, 5th on Floor, and 6th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 8.8 on Vault.

JV Freshman Bennett White placed 6th on Vault, 7th on Beam, and 7th on Floor. Her highest score of the meet was 8.5 on Vault.

Sophomore Riley Neumann placed 4th on Bars with a score of 8.6.
JV Freshman Elena Fitzenhagen placed 9th on Vault with a score of 7.8.
7th grader Sydney Davis placed 9th on Vault with a score of 7.0.
Freshman Caroline Fullwood competed on Bars and placed 11th.
