This weekend our Lady Scots Varsity Gold Golf Team played in The Heart of Texas Championship at Pecan Valley Golf Course. This tournament brings some of the best teams from across the state of Texas including the last three 6A state champion teams.

Our Lady Scots competed hard through the heat to place in 18th out of 28 teams. The team was made up of senior, Landry Saylor who led the Lady Scots in scoring on day one with a 1 over round of 73. She was joined by juniors, Grace Heiss and Piper Holdridge along with sophomore, Delaney Newberry.

The Varsity Gold Team will be back at it at the end of the month in San Antonio for Swing for the Cure.
